Dear folks,

my Sonos system is driving me mad. It has worked flawlessly for many years with the S1 Controller. Now I am trying to migrate to S2, because S1 can’t properly handle the new Apple Music ecosystem anymore – but the transition has turned into a complete nightmare.

I attempted to factory reset all my speakers, including around ten Sonos One devices. Not a single one resets correctly. About half of them flash orange very briefly, but none of them ever start blinking green. Most of them simply stay on solid white and appear to detect remnants of my old S1 system somewhere in the network, trying to reconnect to it.

I have disconnected every Sonos device from power, rebooted my router multiple times, and followed the reset instructions exactly. Still, the speakers do not reset. I also tried to reset with the router connected by LAN, to no effect

What can I do to ensure that the factory reset finally works and that the speakers stop trying to link themselves to the old S1 system?

Thank you for your support.
