I have quite a big Sonos environment, but has anyone ever thought of bringing your local laptop as part of the Sonos system? I mean is it possible? Then I could use it to stream the radio in sync and I don’t have to buy another speaker just for my local Mac.

Wir haben eine recht umfangreiche Sonos Umgebung, aber an meinem Arbeitsplatz habe ich keine Sonos box. Könnte ich rein theoretisch meine MacBook Lautsprecher in die Sonos Umgebung einbinden und auch als Sonos Lautsprecher verwenden? Das sollte ja über Software sicher möglich sein. Hat das schon jemand mal hinbekommen?

Das ist nicht möglich.
Nur Sonosgeräte können als Teil des Multiroom Systems mit dessem eigenen Protokoll konfiguriert werden.
Imho ist das auch sinnvoll, um die Stabilität des Systems zu gewährleisten. Sonos ist kein offenes System, sondern wurde und wird als autarkes System entwickelt.
